According to one eyewitness, the pair did not seem too concerned about being caught and simply continued with their tryst right in front of everyone. "They didn't even stop when people started walking in," said the witness. "It was pretty brazen."

A spokesperson for Thompson & Knight confirmed that security responded to a "disturbance" at the office but would not comment further on what happened.

Houston attorney Mark Bennett had a less than charitable view of what transpired at his former place of employment. "This is just another example of how lawyers will do anything to get ahead, including engaging in public displays of debauchery," Bennett said.

Despite the optics, it's unclear whether or not any official disciplinary actions will be taken against the two employees involved in this incident.
